At Lavish House, we are committed to providing a seamless shopping experience, including clear and straightforward shipping and return policies. Please read the following information to understand our shipping procedures and return guidelines.
1. Shipping Policy
a. Delivery Locations: We currently offer shipping only within Uganda.
b. Delivery Costs: Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight, size, and destination of your order. Delivery costs will be met by the customer and will be communicated before delivery.
c. Delivery Time: Our delivery time typically takes 7-10 business days.
d. Order Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
e. Tracking Your Order: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment through our carrier’s website.
2. Return Policy
a. Return Eligibility: We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return most items within 1 day of receipt for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition.
- In the original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.
b. Non-Returnable Items: The following items are non-returnable:
- Customized or personalized products.
- Clearance or sale items marked as “final sale”.
- Opened or used smart home devices.
- Gift cards.
c. Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at orders@lavish.house or call +256 702 757 499. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to send the item(s) back to us.
d. Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item shipped, defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe return of your item(s). Lavish House is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
e. Refunds: Once we receive your returned item(s) and verify that they meet our return criteria, we will process your refund within 1 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
g. Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 1 day (24 hours) of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you. Please provide photos of the damaged item and packaging to expedite the process.
3. Cancellations
a. Order Cancellations: You may cancel your order before it has been shipped by contacting our customer service team. If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may return the item(s) in accordance with our return policy.
